Some photos from a few all night events back in June. These are High School lock-in's that they have at the University of Duluth. My husband does some airbrush tattooing, we have been working together at this event for over 10 years!
Digital Caricatures was a hit last week at the IFDA conference at the Orlando Convention Center.
They were having some record heat, which I really enjoyed coming from Wisconsin. Last week I finished up with this unusual and fun project for Zoetis & Midwest Veterinary Supply.
We did caricatures of the contest winners pets from photos. On the PDF instruction page they told me a little bit about their pets personality. Are they quiet, shy, enthusiastic, loud… Some people really got into this and sent very comical descriptions of their pets. I was expecting cats and dogs and ended up with Parrots, Skinny Pigs ( Guinea Pigs with no hair) and a Giraffe. We printed the caricatures 8.5 X 11 and have them on the download page so they can buy coffee cups, cell phone cases , etc… Many of the dogs seemed to be sports fans. Last weekend we had the final four basketball tournament here in Minneapolis and I was hired to draw Digital Caricatures at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
This client wanted 5 X 7 prints, I have to admit the larger size really looked good! Just updated my 2019 Digital Caricature Artist video.
Last week we had a 2 day Digital Caricature Event in Scottsdale Arizona. We live in Northern Wisconsin so I was super excited to get out of the cold weather, but winter followed us down there. Flagstaff had record breaking snow and In Scottsdale it was 40 degrees windy and raining!
However the gig went great! The people were awesome and really into the Caricatures and the resort (The Phoenician) was amazing! This event needed two Digital Caricature artist so we had Minneapolis Artist Erik helping us out! |
