  On Saturday I was at Fall Fest in Hayward Wisconsin doing Airbrush Caricatures. I believe I ended up drawing more dogs then people! This has happened before, it all starts by one dog getting their caricature drawn and before you know it you have a whole line of dogs waiting!
Osseo Gardens Assisted Living Center had me for their State fair party event. This women is 97 years old and the last caricature she had drawn of her was at the MN State Fair around 1947 when her and her sister worked there as teenagers. What I love about being a Caricature Artist is being able to hear stories like this! Caricatures is one of those things that most people keep forever!  Last Thursday evening I drew Digital Caricatures for a Grooms Dinner at Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors MN. They did 8.5 X 11 print outs that turned out really nice. I drew about 35 people that evening, the pictures below are all of one family. This was a really fun event to work! My husband and I decided to turn it into a work vacation and continued up to Grand Marais for the weekend. We were fortunate enough to be there for the Outdoor Painters of Minnesota Art show.  |
